The Holly Project is a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) survivor support service which helps survivors and their families rebuild their lives and offer them hope for the future.

We are a free, independent support service for the survivors and their families, run by CSE Survivors. We are a safe place for those affected by CSE to get support and advice from people who have experienced the trauma and impact of CSE.

Our team felt there was not a safe place for survivors or their families to go to or people they could talk to who truly understood their experiences. With the support of local CSE survivor and campaigner Holly Archer, the Holly Project was created to give hope and support from people who truly understand the impact that CSE has.

Whilst the service is funded through a tendered contract, this doesn't cover the costs of all of the things that the Holly Project needs to give survivors and their families the truly holistic support they need to move forward and to flourish.

Your donations make the difference here - they contribute towards counselling and therapy sessions, wellbeing and self care packages or group and 1-1 activities which help survivors build their confidence and self esteem. Many survivors do not feel they are worthy of feeling good or their education and employment prospects have been so affected by their trauma that they cannot spare even the smallest amount to spend on themselves. These are the little things that make a massive difference to the recovery journey of each person we support, and without your help we cannot offer these things.

None of your donations go towards our staffing, admin or running costs, your donations are ring fenced for the Holly Project and not the wider work of YMCA Wellington (who we fall under)
