Hackney Night Shelter has a homeless shelter in the heart of Victoria Park Village, supporting the community by providing emergency accommodation to individuals experiencing street homelessness. The HNS Annual Sleep Out is back with another local fundraising event for 2024. After the fabulous success of our first sleep out in 2023, we wanted to gather our supporters together, and hopefully make some new friends as we join in an opportunity to raise funds, and connect with our neighbours whilst supporting our shelter to stay open.

These community fundraising events are essential to keeping our doors open. Hackney Night Shelter is open 365 nights of the year, where we support 26 individuals every night to get off the streets, and we wouldn’t be able to do this without support from local grants, and our community fundraising events throughout the year.

It really does take a village, and we are so lucky to be here in the heart of Victoria Park Village, and we look forward to continuing to support and engage with our community here!

Support Hackney Night Shelter by donating on this page or come and get involved on Friday 25th October at 8pm, St John of Jerusalem Churchyard on Lauriston Road! You will hear some live folk music and guest reflections, then sleep out with 50 other members of our community, followed by a big fry up in the morning. Purchase your place here!
