Story
Helping families across our estates access good food with dignity, hope and community.
Across the estates of East Finchley, many of our neighbours are struggling with food insecurity. Rising living costs, mobility challenges, unexpected crises, and the daily pressure of stretching already-thin budgets mean that too many families are going without the basics.
At Hope North London, we refuse to let people face this alone.
That’s why, in partnership with church@five and Families Church, we are launching Food For All - a joined-up, locally-rooted food project providing practical support, warm hospitality, and a pathway out of crisis for individuals and families across our community.
What Your Support Makes Possible
Your donation will help us:
- Provide regular food at church@five and midweek groups
Every Sunday and throughout the week, we share meals with people who arrive hungry, overwhelmed or isolated. Your gift helps us feed families with dignity and warmth.
- Distribute free food directly to families in need
Working from our new Food Hub at the Green Man Community Centre, we will store and distribute food to those who need it most: from surplus supermarket collections to essential basics like pasta, rice, milk and tins.
- Offer weekly minibus trips to the Community Grocery
Helping people move from crisis to independence, while building friendships and confidence.
- Respond quickly to emergencies
When a parent messages saying they have nothing to feed their children tonight, we can act immediately: because your generosity makes that possible.
