Story
At Hertfordshire Mind Network we are fully aware of the impact a physical illness can have on mental wellbeing and the coronavirus is no different in this respect. However, given the global scale of the virus, ongoing media coverage, change to daily routines and government imposed lockdowns this virus has the potential to impact our mental health on a greater scale.
That is why we are launching this appeal and asking for your support - to help us increase our service provision across the county and support Hertfordshire residents whose mental health has been impacted by COVID-19.
In the last two months we have adapted how we support our clients whilst ensuring that we follow the necessary guidelines. Our staff teams are working remotely and are providing support through phone, Skype and online provision. We have also extended the opening hours of our Crisis Helpline to 24/7 to ensure that we are here for Hertfordshire residents anytime night or day.
The money raised through this appeal will help us to continue investing in innovative online platforms to improve the way in which we provide support and ensure that we are able to support every Hertfordshire resident that reaches out to us during this difficult time.
As a local, independent charity responsible for our own funding every pound makes a difference - please donate today to help us support people across Hertfordshire.
