Organised by Just4ChildrenJust4Children are raising funds for specialist equipment to assist Lukas rehabilitation post Hip Surgery. This will build and improve his joint flexibility and lung capacity, help to prevent him having muscle weakness and help with his digestion.

Luka is aged 10 from Bristol. He has just undergone a very major hip reconstruction surgery spending 8 hours under anaesthetic. He had to have both hamstrings cut and shortened and both hips broken and reconstructed, followed by being put into a Spica cast which he is expected to be in for 6-8 weeks.
Following this Luca will spend a week in hospital having the cast removed and managing pain from his muscles. After this follows rehabilitation. We are fundraising for Just4Children to provide an Innowalk which will help to rebuild strength in Luka's hips and core muscles. It will also help with mobility, digestion, muscle tone, get him out his wheelchair, standing, taking steps and so much more.
But, the biggest benefit is that it will hopefully prevent him ever having to have this surgery again.
