Join Law Enforcement Agencies in South Hillsborough County as they support the Nashua Child Advocacy Center! Beards for Bucks is a fun and exciting fundraiser where law enforcement officers are allowed to grow facial hair for the month of October to support our work. Officers depend on the generosity of the community to make a donation to support their Razorless for a Reason cause.

Here at the Nahua CAC, we work with almost 300 child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their families every year. We help them to navigate through some of the most challenging times in their lives. This effort can only be done through the coordinated, victim-centered, team approach. We work in partnership with many local agencies to provide high quality, specialized services for abused children and their families to heal, survive and thrive.

At our center, we make sure that every child and caregiver who walks through the door is greeted into a safe, warm and family-friendly space. We offer a well-equipped play area, a comfortable waiting space and a team full of professionals ready to support them through the process. It's through the generous donations during campaigns like Beards for Bucks that we are able to provide such accommodations.

Something new for 2022 is our goal to start and maintain a "pantry" that would house everyday items that some of our families may need. Items needed for the pantry might be things such as toiletries, backpacks, school supplies, gas cards, clothing, or even small food items. With money that is raised from Beards for Bucks we can make this dream come true and fulfill the needs of our families and caregivers even more!
