Marrow is a network of lifesaving students who work with the blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan. There are over 50 Marrow groups, with hundreds of student volunteers in universities across the country, who are all working towards one thing - saving the lives of people with blood cancer.

This Justgiving page has been set up in support of Gunners Goal. 18-month-old Gunner was diagnosed with a rare disease called MPS Type 1 Hurler, which prevents his body from converting sugar into necessary protein. Although it was discovered at an early stage, Gunners doctors believe his best chance of survival is a stem cell transplant before his second birthday.

Unfortunately, there is no current match for Gunner on the stem cell register, so his family has launched Gunners Goal - a fundraising appeal to help Anthony Nolan send thousands of swab packs to people who have applied to join the stem cell register, increasing the chances of people like Gunner finding his match. We are fundraising for Anthony Nolan, in support of Gunners Goal.

Gunner is a smiley toddler who loves high-fiving his nurses! We want to show our support to Gunner and his family, not only through fundraising, but by sending him a virtual high-five.
