We're asking you to show Hft the love this Valentines and take on the 1.4 Challenge and do something amazing that involves the numbers 1 and 4! Why not run 1.4 miles, skip for 14 minutes, cook up 14 of your best curries or even boogie to 14 of the best dance tunes ever. Whatever your challenge - do it your way and remember to have the best time!

This is a challenge is for all ages and abilities, we just want you to get active, have fun and support Hft. There are no limits on what you can do, so get creative, the only rule we have is, it must follow the Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.

2020 was a difficult year for everyone. But for people with learning disabilities and autism, the challenges have been particularly tough. The physical threat is very real - people with learning disabilities and autism are up to 6 times more likely to die from Coronavirus - but so is the impact on their mental health. Changes to routines, increased isolation and confusion about how to stay safe are all causing anxiety and distress. And at a time when they need Hft the most, our staff teams are also at risk.

We cant predict how this will affect us in the long-term, but we know that it will have a long lasting impact. Your support is always important to us, but more so than ever through this time of crisis.

All funds raised from the 1.4 Challenge will go to towards ensuring the ongoing safety and wellbeing of people with learning disabilities and autism, and the key workers who support them.
