At the national non-profit HealthCorps, we believe that helping teenagers improve their physical and mental well-being can be life changing for them. Founded in 2003 by cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz, HealthCorps mission is educate young people about mental and physical wellness, and equip them with the tools and knowledge to become resilient in mind and body, for their long-term success and that of their community. Our organization is grounded in the conviction that youth can reach their full potential by understanding and practicing preventative health. HealthCorps has impacted 2.5 million students and educators delivering its Living Lab and educator training programs in 340 schools and school sites across 23 states.
