Former cancer patient, Erica Curtis, found comfort creating a lovely pendant when visited by the St. Luke's art cart during a hospital stay. Sadly, Erica lost her battle with cancer in May 2018 at the age of 40.

That pendant, however, is now a treasured family keepsake and the motivation behind Erica's Art Carts. To honor Erica's memory and in gratitude to the St. Luke's team, the Curtis family purchased six art carts. Essentially art rooms on wheels, the carts are loaded with creative supplies and adorned with Erica's name and photo.

Erica's Art Carts now visit and inspire cancer patients multiple campuses across the network.
