BE A HEADWAY HERO!
Definition of a skydive: A freefall thrill from height!
Easier to do than say! For some people, yes!
Some will relish the chance to leap out of a plane at 13,000ft, then travel at speeds of up to 120mph with the wind whistling in their ears as they accelerate towards the ground!
Not for you? No worries, as you can still be a 'Headway Hero' by sponsoring someone who is joining our skydive!
All money raised will help our local brain injury services. This includes social rehab sessions from our brain injury hubs in Moseley, Rednal and Wylde Green, and one-to-one support for those with brain injury at home or out in the community across the whole of Birmingham and Solihull. It also includes our Family & Carer Services, providing emotional and practical support to those with a brain injured loved one in the family.
We strive to do the very best we can for the brain injured community - and this includes new services like our therapy suite at Sutton House and a new vocational programme at Headway House designed to help those with brain injury take the next steps towards volunteering or paid employment.
We simply can't do all of this without financial support from people like you, and so, as your family member, friend, neighbour or colleague prepares for their 'free-fall thrill', please consider donating as by helping them, you'll be helping us to help local people affected by brain injury to live a better life.
