Story
Headway Derby was founded in 1994 and every year since we have continued to support more brain injury survivors and their families than ever before.
As many of you might already know our charity has financially struggled year upon year for a long time, and whilst we have worked extremely hard over the past 12 months, we continue to find ourselves in deficits that we cannot avoid.
The cost-of-living crisis has meant our finances don’t always look as healthy as we wish them to, but we always make sure that we are doing our absolute best to carry out our mission of improving life after brain injury in Derby and Derbyshire.
If you have known Headway Derby for a while, you will know we have moved offices and buildings more times than you could count, mainly due to lack of funds. We’ve been at our base on Bateman Court now since 2019, but we have bigger and better plans for our future.
Our current premises are not fit for purpose, and are in a sense falling apart. We are desperate to move and have found our new home, but need funds to support our move!
If you can help in any way at all we would be so so grateful!
