Welcome to "Head Out for Headway," an exciting February fundraising challenge to support individuals living with brain injuries across Norfolk and Waveney. Take part by walking, running, or cycling, and raise vital funds for Headway Norfolk and Waveney. Every step you take makes a difference!
1. Choose Your Target
Decide on a step goal that works for you or your team. Whether it’s 5,000 steps a day, 250,000 steps for the month, or covering a symbolic distance, set a goal that inspires you. No amount is too small.
2. Set Up Your JustGiving Page
Create a personalised fundraising page through JustGiving by pressing the orange start fundraising button on this page. Share your story, upload photos, and set your fundraising target to encourage friends and family to support your efforts.
3. Challenge Friends and Family
Make it a group effort! Invite your friends, family, or colleagues to join you in the challenge. You can form a team, set collective step targets, or even compete to see who can log the most steps.
4. Share Your Journey
Spread the word on social media. Post updates about your progress, share photos, and use the hashtag #HeadOutForHeadway. Tag Headway Norfolk and Waveney to help raise awareness and attract more donations.
5. Track Your Steps
Use a fitness tracker or app to monitor your daily steps. Celebrate milestones along the way and keep your supporters engaged with regular updates. Remember, the challenge runs from the 1st-28th of February 2025.
6. Celebrate Your Success
At the end of the challenge, celebrate your achievement and the difference you’ve made for brain injury survivors. Every participant will receive a digital certificate to recognise their efforts.
