Story
Hats for Headway is a fundraising campaign which takes place on the 19th May, during Acquired Brain Injury Awareness Week. The Campaign aims to support individuals with brain injuries and their families by encouraging people to wear hats of all shapes and sizes and to make a £3 donation to Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a charity that provides essential support and services to those impacted by brain injury.
Throughout the campaign, participants are encouraged to share photos of themselves wearing their favourite hats on social media using the hashtag #HatsForHeadwayNorfolkandWaveney. Doing so will help spread awareness about the important work that Headway does, encourage others to get involved and raise awareness about head and brain injuries.
Here's how you can get involved:
1. Take a photo of yourself wearing your favorite hat and tag us on social media using the hashtag #HatsForHeadway. By doing so, you help spread awareness about the important work that Headway does and encourage others to get involved.
2. Make a donation of £3 (or more if you can) to our Just Giving page. Your donation will go directly towards supporting individuals and families affected by brain injury, providing vital services and resources to help them through their journey.
3. Nominate three friends to do the same. Encourage your friends and family to get involved in this worthy cause and help spread the word.
Whether you're a fan of baseball caps, beanies, or bowlers, Hats for Headway is a fun and easy way to make a difference in the lives of those who have been impacted by brain injury. By wearing a hat and making a donation, you can help provide essential support and services to survivors and their families and ultimately make a real difference in the fight against brain injury.
Join the Hats for Headway campaign today, and help us to make a positive impact in the lives of those impacted by brain injury. Together, we can raise awareness, raise funds, and make a real difference.
