I have chosen this charity because I have been inspired by Rob Burrow and his family in dealing with this disease and raising national awareness and I wanted to support a local charity. Also because of a lovely lady and her family who live in my village . Ann was diagnosed in November 2020 with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). She is fighting this cruel disease daily with courage and dignity and with the support of her family just like Rob.

Building a bespoke centre for MND will make a huge difference to Ann and her family and many others.

MND is a cruel disease, robbing individuals and families of precious time, the new MND centre will provide state of the art treatment for patients and much needed respite for families.

Our Fundraising starts with an afternoon tea on Tuesday May 9th at which Dr Agam Jung (Rob's Consultant Neurologist) will speak.

On Sunday May 14th our club professional Gary Stothard and golf member Dave Keywood will be running in the Leeds Marathon. Please sponsor them.
