Happy Feet Needs Help Getting to His Forever home

Organised by Clan McCat Scotland

We need your help to get Happy Feet to his forever home, like so many innocent animals he was dumped by his family when he fell sick. He’d suffered a rectal prolapse and needed a surgical procedure. Luckily his rescuer found him in time.

Story

Help Happy Feet Get the Happy Ending He Deserves

Happy Feet’s story is one of heartbreak, survival, and hope. Like so many innocent animals, he was cruelly abandoned by his family when he fell ill. Suffering from a rectal prolapse, he was left to fend for himself—frightened and in pain—until our rescuer found him and rushed him to the vet. After surgery and expert care, he has made a full recovery, though he will need a special diet for life to keep him healthy.

Despite everything he has been through, Happy Feet is a shining example of resilience. He is affectionate, playful, and full of love. He adores people, gets along beautifully with other cats and children, and has a sweet, easygoing nature that makes him the perfect family companion. Whether he’s chasing toys, snuggling up for attention, or watching the world go by from the window, he is a joy to be around.

After being abandoned once, Happy Feet deserves a second chance at happiness—a forever home where he will be truly loved and never let down again. He finally has the opportunity to travel to the UK and find a family who will cherish him, but we need your help to make it happen.

We are fundraising to cover his travel costs, including his flight, transport, and vet checks. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring him one step closer to the safe and loving home he has been waiting for.

Please consider donating to help Happy Feet start his new life. If you can’t donate, sharing his fundraiser is just as valuable!

About the charity

We are a small Scottish Charity (SC051803), run entirely by volunteers with no employees who dedicate as much time as their jobs and family allow them to help cats in need from all over the world. We believe every cat deserves a loving home, regardless of where they are in the world. We rehome cats to the UK and have a fantastic community where we help wherever the need is greatest. We also support TNR programmes and provide medical care to as many injured, abused, neglected, abandoned or ill cats as we can. We organise fundraisers to provide food to shelters that are really struggling to feed their rescues, to help with the costs of medical care and travel.
