To celebrate our 18th year in 2022 we would like to raise £18,000 - and we need your fundraising help!

It costs WYCCP £250,000 to run for one year. Our work improves lives, creates safer communities and saves the state nearly £24 million in prison costs every year.

Supporting our birthday appeal will help men to stay out of prison. We know that at least 70% of the men we work with will be out of prison a year from release - and longer - compared to the HMP Leeds average of just 36% of releases. We have a proven track record in making our communities safer and stronger.

To mark our special birthday, we are celebrating:

- the fact that over the last 18 years we have supported nearly 2,000 men - helping them find somewhere to live, sort out their finances and deal with their health -in fact helping them with whatever issues they need sorting to get them on track.

- our family project: we now support members of prisoners families, often the innocent victims of their partners crimes.

- our free counselling service which helps men to resolve issues that may have led them to become offenders and their families to deal with the emotional impact of their loved ones offences.

- our volunteer programme: over all these years we have welcomed 300 people from all walks of life to join our team and help us to support men and their families. Many of our volunteers go on to work in criminal justice.

Your support will enable us to grow in our 18th year, as the cost of living soars and the people we work with need help more than ever. With your help, we can support more men and families, help to access healthcare, training and employment and provide more food and care parcels. Donations will enhance WYCCP's special brand of person centred support and help to make our communities safer and stronger.
