The 2024/25 year, marks two significant anniversaries in the Matt Hampson story while also making exciting plans for the future.

On 29th November 2024, Matt reached his 40th birthday. Then in March, it will have been 20 years since the accident which changed his life forever and provided his inspiration to create the Matt Hampson Foundation to support other young people to ‘get busy living’ after life-changing injury in sport.

The Foundation has touched the lives of hundreds of people in the UK and further afield, providing support to beneficiaries and to their parents and partners as they adapt to a new life they had not planned.

While reaching these milestones, Matt is also looking to the future and the expansion of the Get Busy Living Centre to provide physical and emotional support for even more beneficiaries.

This would be the best possible present in his 40th year and to help him in reaching this goal, we have opened a JustGiving page to support building an extension and transform the internal spaces at the Centre.
