Care for a Haggis Supper at Home?
While this year you may not be able to get together for a usual Burns Supper we have put together a pack to take the Burns Supper home.
This year celebrate the life and times of the Scottish Bard and have Haggis at Home.
Suggested minimum donation £10
In January we'll send you all you need to bring a traditional Burns Supper home. Whether you go all out and have the formal toasts and reading or have a haggis supper and some activities for the children, there should be something for you,
Your on-line pack will include:
A traditional running order
Menu including some lovely recipes
Poems and songs from the national bard with music from the pipes and from a harpist
Family fun - A quiz and some activities for the children to enjoy
A local Piper piping in the Haggis and our very own volunteer Tom Coates addressing the Haggis in his usual Burns Supper style
Every day and night, Marie Curie Nurses and frontline staff are giving vital support to dying people and their families, in their homes and our hospices across the UK. These crucial services are needed more than ever as the NHS is put under ever greater strain.
On Burns night this year we hope we can continue to bring some light into the dark winter months and help dying people and their families, helping them to cherish and care for each other towards the end of life.
