At halow project, we focus on removing the barriers to opportunities that often face people with learning disabilities. We all want - and deserve - to have friends, to have a meaningful purpose in life, and to enjoy living in the way that we want to. These every day goals can be very difficult for someone with learning disabilities to reach without support - and that's where halow makes the difference.
We provide much-needed opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities to socialise, to be part of a community, to develop talents and to learn key skills, and to find opportunities to work or volunteer. Our 1-2-1 support workers, supported living service, educational programmes, skills sessions and social activities enable the people we support to live rich, busy and fulfilling lives, as independently as possible.
We are so grateful to George and Mark at 2Boats events, the fantastic support crew and all those who have covered the epic 250miles through England and France during each year's ride, alongside our co-founder and patron former F1 world champion Damon Hill, to raise funds for our charity's work supporting young adults with learning disabilities.
And we are grateful to YOU for your donation. Thank you so much.
