Story
The suffering of those already in great poverty continues.. Poor families in cities and villages across Bangladesh with breadwinners such as rikshaw drivers and day labourers out of work with no help and support at all, with many facing starvation due to the lockdowns and havoc caused by the ongoing Covid crisis - this is something we rarely see on our screens but their suffering is great!
The suffering of the Rohingya refugee`s also continues in squalid camps in the coast of Bangladesh too, with the recent fire which ravaged the camps adding to their pain and misery!"
YOU can do something to lift these families and communities out of this distress. We need YOUR support to continue the great work which Global Welfare Trust (GWT) is carrying out on the ground right NOW - Emergency aid distribution, supporting the needy and vulnerable, clean water projects, access to healthcare are only a few of the projects GWT is undertaking.
GWT is also delivering much needed long term support to poverty stricken families and communities, some of these projects include;
Access to Healthcare (access to clinics, medical care for the most needy)
Disaster Relief (food, clothing, cash distribution to the most needy)
Education Projects (girls schools, 1 teacher slum schools, Islamic education, dawah / outreach, and more).
Clean water - installing tube wells for the most needy.
Library projects to improve literacy and develop awareness , adults classes, and more.
Welfare - provide support to vulnerable individuals & families.
Long term sustainability and self sufficiency programmes.
We need YOUR Dua`s and generous support in order to continue this great work..
