In 2017 Chris and his friends wanted to raise money for their friends niece Amelia and Family. They all decided to walk the Guild Wheel instead of cycling it. They only expected 30 walkers but all the community wanted to help in any way possible, they where truly grateful and couldnt believe the response.

Over the years they have carried it on as a community and look forward to this walk every year, growing bigger and better, supporting our local organisations and getting more people involved which leads us the next one!

On Friday 7th April Leyland's amazing community spirit steps forward again to support the 7th Guild Wheel Walk to raise money for worthy charities on our very doorstep. This year Chris would like to dedicate it to all our loved ones who we were close to, who we have lost over the last few years.

The beneficiaries of this years event will be St Catherines Hospice, Lancashire Mind, NF1 Army, Baby Beat, Rainbow Hub and Derian House Childrens Hospice who have looked after us and our community through these tough times with their ongoing support and care.
