Story
We believe that all people should be equally valued and have an equal chance to live the best life possible, that is why we do what we do.
Guideposts supports people with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, dementia, and their carers. Our services help people find the opportunities and skills needed to overcome social inequalities, be connected to their community, and live the best life possible regardless of circumstances.
Together we are the Guideposts community, helping each other to achieve better wellbeing.
In Oxfordshire we provide:
Weekday day services offering a range of social and skill-based activities for adults with learning disabilities, mobility impairments and other conditions.
Friendship Opportunities, including Better Connected, Our UK-wide social club for anyone with autism or learning disabilities, and CONNECT Dementia, offering people with dementia or other types of memory loss and their carers the opportunity to enjoy creative activities together.
Support for Children at Dreamcatchers Forest School, providing children and young people with additional needs the opportunity to explore and enjoy the natural environment through hands-on play and team-building in woodland locations in Oxfordshire.
