Story
This half term the children at the Grove School are being challenged to get reading and raise money for the brand-new Junior library and a new phonics reading books in the Infants.
Inspired by the Jubilee, the Junior classes will be attempting to read at least 70 books throughout half term, whilst the Infants will be trying to read for 70 minutes.
There are some great prizes for the winning classes including non-uniform days, extra story times and the chance to open the brand-new library! The class that raises the most money will also win £100 from Bradford and Howley for them to spend on a treat of their choice.
Last year the sponsored run raised a record amount of money for the school that has been put to good use buying a greenhouse to support eco-projects and an inspiring mural in the juniors dining hall, reinforcing the values and aims of the school.
Please support us in beating last years total and creating some brilliant resources to help inspire the next generation of Grove School readers!
Thank you!
