Making a difference, one step at a time

On 26 May 2024, #TeamHospiscare will be lacing up their running shoes and preparing to take to the start line of Exeter’s Great West Run! This half marathon has it all; a journey through the city centre, followed by country lanes and tough hills, but it’s nothing compared to the challenge of a terminal diagnosis faced by so many each year.

That’s why #TeamHospiscare are going the distance to help raise funds for their local adult hospice.

For over 40 years, Hospiscare has provided free expert palliative and end-of-life care for those in need, enabling local patients and their families to make the most of the precious time they have left. Our specialist doctors and nurses care for around 2,500 terminally ill patients every year, across Exeter, Mid and East Devon, supporting families through some of the hardest times in their lives.

But we can’t do that without your help.
