Story
Organising or taking part in Macmillans Great Scavenger Challenge is a fantastic way to come together with your family, friends, colleagues or community.
You bring the enthusiasm and participants, well bring all the resources, hints and tips to make your Great Scavenger Challenge unique and fun for all.
Its easy to make the challenge your own: you can hold it virtually, in your own home, on your street, in your local area, across the country or wherever the challenge takes you.
People with cancer need our support more than ever and the money you raise through your scavenger challenge will help us provide vital practical, emotional and financial support.
£54 can could pay for 100 copies of The Cancer Guide.
£221 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for one day, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.
£896 could support our Cancer Information and Support team to run our Macmillan Support Line phone service for 2 hours. In this time, they could deal with 100 calls and web enquiries from people who want questions answered, need practical or financial support, or just want to chat.
