Gosport Road Runners Club is proud to announce its collaboration with Brighterway to tackle The Great South Run and raise essential funds for Gosport War Memorial Hospital.
On Sunday, October 20th, a team of dedicated runners from the Gosport Road Runners Club will be hitting the streets of Portsmouth. Their mission: to raise money for Brighterway-funded projects across local NHS sites, including for Gosport War Memorial Hospital.
Ken Eaden, Chair of the Gosport Road Runners Club, added: “The Great South Run is an incredible event. Running the 10-mile course, knowing we are directly supporting NHS patients and carers in our region, is a tremendous motivation.”
Brighterway is dedicated to enhancing patient care at Southern Health by raising funds to provide support beyond the NHS budget. With your assistance, we can improve care, experiences, and outcomes for all our patients every year.
The race, starting and finishing on the Clarence Esplanade in Southsea, promises runners a scenic route past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Participants will enjoy enthusiastic local support along the course, culminating in a grandstand finish and a lively post-run party.
