Golden Hour is the hour following a life-threatening injury or illness when receiving rapid critical care saves lives
That's why the life-saving work of the UK's 21 air ambulance charities is so vital.
They rapidly deliver hospital-level care and equipment to the patient at the scene when every second counts towards survival.
And that's why we hope organisations and employees all across the UK will take part in Golden Hour.
It's a great way to raise vital funds for all 21 of the nation's air ambulance charities by simply donating an hour's profit or pay to Air Ambulances UK.
Golden Hour Calculator
You will need your :
Number of contracted hours you work per week
Number of days you work a week
Number of days you have paid entitlement per year
example 1: if you work 5 days a week, this is 365 days, minus 104
(52 weekends of the year) = 261 days
example 2: if you work 3 days a week, this is 365 days, minus 2 work days per week,
minus 104 = 208 days
How to do the calculation:
1. Divide the number of contracted hours you work a week by the number of days you work in a week = A (make a note of the amount)
2. Divide your annual salary by the your number of days paid holiday entitlement = B (make a note of the amount)
Divide B by A = GOLDEN HOUR
