Story
On Friday 3 December, we're holding an island-wide dress down day to raise funds for Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man, and we're inviting you to join us and GO BRIGHT FOR CRUSE!
Cruse Isle of Man exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people, and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. Founded in 1988, we offer free and confidential bereavement support to anyone in our community who needs us.
Our services are offered to children, young people, and adults on a one-to-one basis by trained Cruse volunteers and staff. We also offer bereavement support groups, information, and advice.
As well as our specialised one-to-one support for children and young people, our unique CruzKids project provides social opportunities for bereaved children and young people to meet with others who have also experienced a significant death.
We also offer training and bereavement awareness support sessions to organisations, schools, and youth groups. All of our services are offered to the community free of charge.
GO BRIGHT FOR CRUSE will be taking place on Friday 3 December. If this date isn't suitable for you or your organisation, you can hold it on another day. It's the taking part that counts.
If you'd like to join in, we only ask that you have fun and that everyone makes a small donation towards Cruse. If you share any photos on your social media pages, please tag us in too so we can see them. Or you can send us your photos and we'll put them on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Let us know how much you've raised so we can send you a thank you e-certificate for your support and give you a shout out (if you'd like one) on our social media pages.
So, who's joining us?
