Story
On Friday 4th December, we're holding an island-wide dress down day to raise valuable funds for Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man, and we're inviting you to join us and GO BRIGHT FOR CRUSE!
Cruse Isle of Man exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people, and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. Founded in 1988, we offer free and confidential bereavement support to anyone in our community who needs us.
Our services are offered to children, young people, and adults on a one-to-one basis by trained Cruse volunteers and staff. In addition, we offer bereavement support groups, information, advice, and support. As well as our specialised one-to-one support for children and young people, our unique CruzKids project provides social opportunities for bereaved children and young people to meet with others who have also experienced a significant death. We also offer training and bereavement awareness support sessions to organisations, schools, and youth groups. All of our services are offered to the community free of charge.
GO BRIGHT FOR CRUSE will be taking place on Friday 4th December, if this works for you, but you can hold it any day that suits you!
If you're interested in joining us, just let us know that you're taking part and share any photos you have on social media and tag us too!
Once the event is over, let us know how much you've raised so we can send you a thank you e-certificate for your valuable support and give you a shout out (if you'd like one!)
There is no set fee for taking part - all we ask is that each person taking part makes a small donation towards Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man.
So, who's joining us?
