Many people hold back from talking about the sexual abuse and sexual violence they have suffered for years or even decades.
Survivors stay silent for many reasons including fear, feelings of shame, guilt and sadness. But with Sue Lambert Trust’s specialist help and support, people can start to heal and rebuild their lives.
We want people to know that it’s okay to speak out. Sue Lambert Trust will listen, without judgement, and will support you.
Many of our clients tell us, at the end of their counselling journey, that while it was tough, they wish they had contacted us sooner.
By getting involved and holding your own 24 hour sponsored silence during sexual abuse and sexual violence awareness week (5th-11th February 2024) you are showing your support and solidarity for survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence.
And by taking on the challenge of staying silent for just one day, we hope more people will understand the emotional pain and suffering that survivors live with for many years.
Just £50 raised is enough to fund a specialist 1-2-1 counselling session and will support Sue Lambert Trust to continue to be there for survivors, when they feel ready to speak out.
So join us and Stay Silent for Sue Lambert Trust.
Thank You.
