Located in the beautiful Connecticut wilderness, Camp Sequassen is the perfect setting for an action-packed week of outdoor adventure and personal development. As international visitors, we will have the chance to immerse yourself in traditional American scouting culture while forming friendships with scouts from across the USA
Established in 1927, Camp Sequassen is a historic Scouts BSA camp located in New Hartford, Connecticut. Named after Chief Sequassen, a Native American leader of the local area, the camp spans over 600 acres of forested land along the shores of West Hill Pond. For nearly a century, it has been a top destination for scouts, offering traditional scouting programs and outdoor adventures that promote leadership, skill development, and a deep appreciation for nature. Throughout its history, Camp Sequassen has remained committed to the values of scouting while adapting to the needs of new generations, making it a cherished institution for both local and visiting scouts.
