Take on a personal challenge this Lent - why not give up coffee or alcohol and donate what you save. The money you raise could help children living in the hardest places gain access to necessities such as food, healthcare, and education.
Could you give up your daily coffee or sweet treats for Lent?
Here at World Vision, our focus is to help the most vulnerable children, in the most difficult places, overcome poverty and experience the fullness of life. However, with the rise of spiralling food costs, children are bearing the brunt of an unequal food system disrupted by conflicts and climate change.
Challenge yourself over the 40 day Lent period to give up your much-loved luxuries whether it’s giving up Netflix, steering clear of fast food or ditching social media and help us give children hope for the future.
What your fundraising could do.
£10 can provide a child with emergency, nutritious food supplies for a month.
£28 can help a family grow a small kitchen garden.
£45 can provide a warm clothes bundle, keeping a child safe and warm in freezing weather.
