Self-Help International's Women's Empowerment Program offers training and micro-loans for women to start businesses and strengthen their roles and positions in their communities. Self-Helps local staff conducts repeated and advanced training for the targeted groups of women, taking into consideration their limited education and literacy. Self- Helps team is well-trained in empowering women in rural communities, and team members work closely with the women in order to develop relationships of trust and understanding.
