Fifteen years ago, Future First was founded with a vision to build a world where a young person’s start in life does not limit their future. This year to celebrate fifteen years of helping young people to 'see who they can be', we’ve launched our Give 15 campaign.
For every £2,250 raised we can help another school develop its alumni and employee network. That’s support for 1,000 young people, helping young people ‘see someone like me.’
What careers advice would you give your 15 year old self? Share your advice here to help the next generation. We’ll share your stories in our school workshops and you’ll be helping young people navigate their futures with confidence.
We are Future First, a social mobility charity and we are here because every student from every walk of life deserves to thrive.
We want to build a society and economy that harnesses talent from all social backgrounds: supporting social and economic progress, unlocking potential, helping local communities to thrive, and creating pathways to success. We bridge the gap between careers education and the world of work. We want young people to see ‘someone like them’ succeed.
Our mission is for every state school and college in the UK to be supported by a thriving and engaged community of former students and employee volunteers that equips young people with the skills and confidence to reach their potential and contribute fully to society. We work with schools and colleges across the UK and are proud to have supported an estimated 465,000 young people since our inception. More than 100,000 volunteers are registered with us - sharing their stories to help young people see who they can be.
