We are fundraising for Action for Children and their vital work with vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

It's hard to grow, learn and fulfil your potential when you're hungry or cold, scared or alone. Poverty, abuse and poor mental health are stopping children's stars from shining and robbing the brighter future they deserve.

It is heart breaking to know there are thousands of children across the UK, who are growing up without the basic things that every child deserves - like a proper bed, warm clothes and healthy meals. These things don't just stop children's stars from shining right now they can have a lifelong impact.

From June 2022, Giggling Squid will be working in partnership with UK children's charity Action for Children to help vulnerable children and young people to thrive.

Action for Children protects and supports vulnerable children and young people by providing practical and emotional care and support, ensuring their voices are heard and campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives. With over 500 services across the UK, in schools and online, in 2020/21 they helped 604,885 children, young people and families. Everyone at Giggling Squid is excited to be getting involved and were committed to fundraising for such a brilliant cause. From marathons to bike rides, sponsored treks to boycotting our beds, well be raised as much money as possible to support vulnerable children and young people in need of life-changing support.

Your generous donations will enable Action for Children to provide food and warmth in a crisis. We can be there for parents who are struggling. And we can offer the right mental health support, so children thrive.
