Gig Buddies is a project of Thera Trust which enables adults with a learning disability to live an active social life. We pair together members and like minded volunteers to enjoy shared interests, not just music gigs, but also comedy shows, cinema, live theatre and whatever else they feel like doing. A Gig Buddy isnt a short term pairing, its a life long friendship.

We also work with a range of venues and organisations to make local events more welcoming for people with a learning disability. Powered by people with lived experience, Gig Buddies share with staff and venue owners ways to make their events more accessible and enjoyable for people who may have struggled to attend.
