Get Moving in May
This May we're getting moving in any way we can to help raise funds to buy vital physiotherapy equipment, which will make a real difference to the people we support.
Physical movement has powerful benefits as part of the rehabilitation of people we support. It can increase overall health, improve flexibility and strengthen muscles. Exercise has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and boost self-esteem.
We have initially set a collective target of moving 1000 miles throughout the month, which is the distance between our 13 specialist neurological rehabilitation services.
Taking part is easy!
You can donate or sponsor our teams who are covering the 1,000 miles in May
or
You can join in and challenge yourself to Get Moving in May!
Any miles you can contribute will help; perhaps you could set yourself your own personal target? It’s your choice how you take part. You could cycle, walk, run, swim – even playing ball as long as you keep a track of your miles!
All you need to do is Get Moving!
