Forest Holme Hospice Charity is expecting a funding deficit of £350,000 due to the impact of coronavirus. We know a lot of people have struggled mentally & physically since the start of the pandemic, so we want to get our local community active with a fundraising challenge that could improve everyone's physical and mental health whilst also raising money to support Forest Holme Hospice.
What's the challenge
Run, walk, skip, hop, cycle, swim, roll or flip, just get physical & get those endorphins pumping. You set the challenge; a goal according to your fitness level at a time that suits you. You could challenge yourself to run 5K each week for a month, walk the distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) in a week,, set your own cycling challenge inspired by the Tour de France; the Tour de Poole! Or show off your moves and have a 2 hour, 12 hour or 24 hour danceathon.
Your Fundraising
You set your own challenge and your own fundraising target. So just sign up and raise what you can. Everyone who takes part will receive a very special Get Fit For Forest Holme medal.
