Story

A 24 hours danceathon event to raise money for two vital charities in Leeds. St George's Crypt and St Gemma's Hospice.

Both based in Leeds and providing services for some of the most vulnerable people in the city.

St Gemma’s Hospice provides expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. They offer care to patients and their carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team and via Out-Patients.

St Gemma’s welcomes and provides care to everyone regardless of people’s age, gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or diagnosis.

Their care is always completely free of charge.

St George's Crypt Care provides compassion and hope with 72 bed spaces, 365 days a year for those who are without a home. They offer immediate practical support in terms of getting fed, cleaned up and clothed along with opportunities to gain skills, self-confidence and a sense of achievement. St George's Crypt is a place in which people can choose to change. Prayer, support and initial counsel.

Sarah would love for you to get involved by either donating or dancing! You can dance for 6, 12 or the full 24 hours!
