GCAUK Ahlul Bayt Housing Complex
This Ramadhan, in the name of the pure household of our Master Sayyiduna Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon Him), the pure household that gave refuge to all, we will be building a brand new housing complex that will give refuge to many families in one of the poorest countries in the world.
Tens of thousands of Malawians in the rural villages live in makeshift houses that are without secure walls, roofs, doors, and windows. During the rainy seasons, these houses which have mud walls and straw roofs collapse and leave the inhabitants homeless during the harshest weather of the year. Lack of proper housing leaves the inhabitants vulnerable and denies them the privacy to live with dignity.
Green Crescent Aid UK has been building new homes in the villages that consist of a strong briquette structure that is plastered (internal & external), iron roof, wooden doors, cemented floor, glass windows, painted and with an external toilet. These new houses are secure, large enough to house a family of 6, with priority given to widows, orphans, and the elderly. Each house has two bedrooms, one living room and a store room with the whole house 6x8m in size.
Gift a dream house to a poor family in rural Malawi who would never imagine living in a modern designed house due to decades of harsh chronic poverty for just £1800 (Zakat Applicable).
