The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s College of Science, Engineering, and Technology (CSET) is dedicated to delivering a dynamic, hands-on approach to higher education, while fostering new and growing opportunities to our students and faculty. Academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate level are offered in Human Biology, Natural and Applied Sciences, and the Richard J. Resch School of Engineering. We extend this commitment to our community by providing STEM-focused camps and field trips to Kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12) students, serving nearly 5,000 individuals in 2023. These immersive experiences that are led by our faculty, staff and students, provide hands-on opportunities that showcase the potential within CSET and broader STEM fields, while also laying the groundwork for continued engagement with the University. Hands-on STEM experiences throughout a child’s educational journey are essential in nurturing an understanding of STEM subjects, cultivating skills like teamwork and critical thinking, and instilling the confidence needed to pursue a college education or career in the STEM field.
