Story
The College of Health, Education, and Social Welfare (CHESW) transforms communities through its well-prepared nurses, social workers, teachers, community health educators and health information specialists. Graduates stay in the region to fill critical workforce needs and improve the health and wellness of individuals and families. Most UW-Green Bay graduates stay in Wisconsin (86%).
Join UW-Green Bay Giving Day to support CHESW priorities like these:
New program start-up fund to grow program offerings and the number of students we serve including our goal to grow the prelicensure nursing program and support the launch of our new Doctorate (EdD) in Applied Leadership and new online Master of Social Work program.
• Equipment and supplies for high impact learning in nursing clinical labs, education methods courses, and other professional programs (simulation equipment, art supplies, video recording equipment, etc)
• First Nations programs and offerings which provide education on indigenous culture and practices
• Scholarships for students in high demand careers such as nurses and teachers
We’re preparing professionals to teach your children and/or grandchildren, help you navigate a health condition, deliver crisis interventions in the community and so much more.
