The scale of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) crisis is unprecedented and is having a significant impact on our ability to raise funds. We have had to cancel or postpone most of our fundraising events and our shops are closed. Because of this, we are expecting a huge shortfall in our funding over the coming months.

It costs £23,000 a day to run the Hospice so that our amazing nurses and doctors can care for the local people who desperately need us. We simply cannot sustain this. We need your help. In the coming months, our nurses, doctors and other staff will be needed more than ever as the health service faces the biggest challenge it has ever seen.

At any one time we typically provide care to over 400 patients with a critical illness, many of them in the last few months of their lives.
