Mercy Worldwide Trust appeal to help provide URGENT MEDICAL SUPPLIES to Jabalia Medical Centre to help the people of Gaza affected currently. Mercy Worldwide helped establish Jabalia Medical Centre in 2012 with your donations! For 9 years the Centre has been providing help to the people of Gaza. After discussing with the staff on the ground and assessing the needs and situation carefully, we are appealing for urgent medical supplies.

As 19/05/2021 there are more then 1620 wounded and more then 50% of them are critical and numbers are expected to raise.

(We will be travelling to Gaza iA just as previously, to help and assist when possible and ensuring all the donations are delivered accordingly.) As you may be aware we have been working in Gaza for over 10 years, therefore after talking to our friends on the ground and assessing the needs and situation carefully, we have launched this project. We have an experienced and resilient team, therefore please be assured that as previously we will deliver this project in the best way possible.

Report from the ground:

The Palestinians are going through hard times nowadays in the Gaza Strip. The civilian, women, children, orphans, widows and older people have been badly affected. Their houses, residential buildings and towers, media offices, streets, agricultural areas and society building have been destroyed.

Displaced families have left their houses without managing to take any of their belongings, so have escaped with empty hands and now they have nothing that would help them on having access to their basic needs. The number of people who are staying in the schools is huge and they are crowded, and the houses of people who hosted their displaced relatives are crowded as well.

What they have of kitchenware and beds is not sufficient to such high number of individuals. Therefore, achieving this project and aiding these families with kitchen ware and beds will rescue them and contribute in alleviating the bitterness of their current days. It will also contribute in improving their psychological condition of these families, as they will feel of the solidarity of people around the world.
