Story
Grab your gaming headset and get ready to press start - let the gaming begin!
At Dementia UK, we want you to use your passion for gaming to raise vital funds and help dementia specialist Admiral Nurses support more families facing dementia.
To get started, simply click the 'start fundraising' button to set up your fundraising page. If you'd like to stream your fundraiser on Twitch, you'll be able to link your fundraising page to your Twitch account so people can donate while they watch (click here to find out how).
There are lots of ways you can get involved with gaming for Dementia UK. Here are some suggestions:
Gaming marathon: challenge yourself to game non-stop for six, 12 or even 24 hours! (When planning a gaming marathon, please make sure to schedule breaks to walk around, eat and drink.)
Speed runs: see how quickly you can complete a level or a whole game.
Tournaments: set up a tournament with friends and family to see who is the gaming champion among your team.
You decide: make up a challenge that is entirely your own. Why not complete your favourite game with a limited number of items in your inventory? Or challenge yourself to play a survival game without dying? The options are endless!
Families facing dementia need support now more than ever to help them cope with the double difficulty of dementia and the coronavirus. With your help, dementia specialist Admiral Nurses can support more families - thank you!
