Story

Gallagher, proud title partner of Premiership Rugby are delighted to be working in partnership with Wooden Spoon this year with their charity cycle, The Road to Twickenham.

In the build-up to the Premiership Rugby Final, a core team of ex-rugby players equipped with the Premiership trophy will cycle from Newcastle to Twickenham, stopping off at several Premiership grounds along the way and covering over 750 miles en route.

At each stop, the riders will meet with day riders who will cycle part of the route alongside the core team. At the 2022 Gallagher Premiership Rugby final, the core riders will cycle into Twickenham Stadium and deliver the trophy.

As part of the cycle, the core riders will raise money for both Wooden Spoon and local Premiership Rugby Club Foundations. All funds raised will be distributed by Wooden Spoon to support vulnerable children and young people, through the power of rugby.

You can get involved by sponsoring the core riders (including Jack Clifford and Nathan Hines) who are cycling the full 750 mile challenge
