Story
The most urgent issues we face require science for resolution: pandemics, climate change, clean energy, loss of species and habitats, and food security.
Now more than ever, we need to ensure our youth develop the skills they need for the future of work but far too many are being left behind, and the gap has widened significantly due to COVID-19.
Science World is uniquely positioned in BC to ensure the next generation has the skills they need to thrive in the future and find new solutions to these very real, very big, problems.
Here's how we'll address these problems.
By scaling our programs digitally, we plan to reach close to 3.5M in 2021/22. We'll give special focus to people who are facing barriers, like women and girls, those living in rural and remote communities, Indigenous peoples, and low-income families who often have barriers accessing STEAM education.
We're also excited to invest in new immersive experiences and upgrade our exhibits to further connect and inspire our audiences through science and nature!
With your support, we can inspire the next generation of problem solvers and world changers.
Science World is a vital part of BCs future and, with your help, we will ensure this iconic organization survives and thrives!
