First Step for Change
Organised by Diocese Of Youngstown Catholic Charities CorporationA pro-life, and pro-family program designed to provide necessary basic necessities and additional resources to families with young children.
Story
Catholic Charities has been coordinating First Step for Change since 2004.
This pro-life, pro-family fundraiser helps to provide material assistance to low income pregnant women and families served by our First Step Programs.
Clients in the First Step programs receive food, formula, clothing, diapers, and other necessities to meet an immediate need, as well as the support of a case manager to provide links with other community resources and to assist with the development of a plan for greater self-sufficiency.
