Organised by Duddingston Charitable TrustThe school's Charity Trust aim to install solar panels to help reduce the effects of Climate Change, and to provide an income to an inclusion fund so all pupils can participate in activities/trips and to improve outdoor educational experiences.

- they will provide a regular income (through the Feed in Tariff) for years to come to the school's Charitable Trust (The Friends of Duddingston Primary School), to support the school's inclusion fund so all pupils can participate in activities/trips and also to improve outdoor educational experiences by improving the school grounds.
We're off to a great start with a £23,686 grant, £72 from the Kidzcare After School Club tombola, £273 from the Trust's stall at the FET-run school Christmas Fair, an amazing £390 raised by our "mini Greta's" at the P1/2 nativity, and £620 in other donations, but we need to raise more money to ensure that the project goes ahead.
The project is supported by staff and pupils at the school, in particular by our "mini Greta's", who are a group of enthusiastic P6 pupils who have really helped by spreading the word and fundraising.
Isla in P6 says: "I really enjoyed going on the climate marches and I'm really happy we are doing something at school that will make an actual difference. I really hope this project inspires others to do similar things".
